Join us for a special weekend to celebrate all things Railway 200 at the Avon Valley Railway.  A global event, 2025 marks 200 years since the birth of the railway. This year, railways across the country and beyond are putting on events to mark this special occasion by celebrating their own part in this important piece of national history.  On the 27th & 28th September, expect to find Morris dancers, performances from local choirs, impressive model railway layouts, vintage transport displays, and more, right here at Bitton station. As well as enjoying a full day of entertainment which promises fun for all the family, ride behind four of our home fleet engines with unlimited access to a frequent and varied timetable of train running across both days.  Ticket Information On booking you will receive a booking confirmation.  Please show this at the booking office on the day to exchange for your train tickets.  We advise you arrive 15/20 minutes prior to departure.
