The Royal Opera DIE WALKRE [New Production] Gods and mortals battle in the second chapter of Wagners Ring cycle. Conductor Antonio Pappano and director Barrie Kosky reunite to continue the mythical adventure that began with Das Rheingold in 2023. On a stormy night, fate brings two strangers together, unleashing a love with the power to end worlds. Meanwhile, in the realm of the gods, an epic battle ensues between their ruler Wotan and his rebellious daughter, Brnnhilde. This Opera is being screened on Sunday 18 May at 2pm, finish time 7.20pm. Running time 320 minutes including two intervals Sung in German with subtitles Tickets 17 and 11 for under 18 Licensed bar (card or cash), with wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee, run by the VHC.
