Rob Heron and Conrad Bird

Cumbrian cowboy Rob Heron and Yorkshire rover Conrad Bird come to The Met as part of their UK tour.
Rob Heron has spent fifteen years on the road with The Tea Pad Orchestra, blending country, gypsy swing, rhythm & blues and rockabilly into his unmistakable sound. Known for his sharp songwriting and dry northern humour, he’s toured with Americana heavyweights including Pokey LaFarge, The Dead South and Sierra Ferrell. This year, Rob returns with a new solo record, leaning into a more intimate, lonesome country sound, from cowboy yodels to stripped-back storytelling.
Conrad Bird, formerly of festival favourites Holy Moly & The Crackers, brings his own solo vision: poetic folk songs, Dylan-inspired ballads, and a commanding, gravel-tinged voice that holds the room.
