Wearing headphones is a critical aspect of the show, and the dialogue will not be audible without them.
You will be provided with a pair of headphones when you arrive at the theatre. These headphones sit on your ears and are lightweight with foam earpads for comfort.
There is volume control that you can adjust yourself. The ear pads are regularly changed and cleaned.

Stereo sound and on-ear headphones may not suit everyone’s hearing needs. If you are a hearing aid user, you may need to use one of the alternative options below:
Please note Bluetooth hearing aids are not compatible with our sound system.
To ensure a streamline check-in process and experience, please let us know if you would require any of the alternative options listed above. We have a limited number of additional headsets per performance so it may be possible to book two different options to try during the show - this will need to be booked in advance and is limited. If you have any concerns or specific requirements other than those available above, please let the box office know in advance. We advise you to arrive at least 25-30 minutes before the start of the performance to ensure we have time to make sure everything is working correctly.
The various options available have been tested by a small group of local Hearing Aid Users, that were brought together in March 2026 by Wiltshire Creative to test and try out the kit for this production of Romeo & Juliet.
