Ross Miller Band and Lussa

A performance more than a year in the making, the Ross Miller Band’s last date with Celtic Connections was sadly cancelled due to stormy weather. Now they’re back, excited to bring their upbeat take on traditional music to Glasgow following a successful summer playing festivals around Scotland and Europe.
Expect infectious passion and distinctive flair from Ross, a World Champion bagpiper in his own right, and his talent-stacked band, including Charlie Stewart (BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year), Rory Matheson (Fara, Trip), Graeme Armstrong (formerly Talisk), Rory Grindlay (Skipinnish), and Ross Saunders (formerly Manran).
Emerging from Glasgow’s vibrant scene, Lussa is a spirited four-piece folk band known for infectious energy and fresh arrangements of traditional and original tunes. Following an outstanding 2024 Danny Kyle Open Stage debut, they reached the 2025 Battle of the Folk Bands final and were shortlisted for Up-and-Coming Artist of the Year at the Scottish Trad Awards. Lussa features Naomi Priestnall and Elizabeth McConnell (fiddles), Bailey McCoo (piano), and Eneko Lane (guitar/banjo).
