Hailing from Brixton, South London and residing in Harlem, New York, Ruben Fox is a unique voice of the saxophone today. Noted for the density of his sound and an affliction for playing ballads. Fox has performed with legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Barry Harris, Roy Ayers, George Coleman, Roy Hargrove, Albert ‘Tootie’ Heath and Johnny O’Neill. He is also associated with many great artists of his generation, Jon Batiste, Emmet Cohen, Mwenso & The Shakes, Reuben James, & Mark Kavuma.
