Australian duo Renee de la Motte and Thomas Eagleton, better known as Salarymen, conjure an addictive blend of indie, rock, disco and psych influences, taking a nod from the likes of The Strokes and Beach Party, Alice Phoebe Lou and Arcade Fire.
Recently showcasing at The Great Escape and selling out their first ever UK show in Edinburgh, Salarymen have moved from strength to strength in the last 12 months. From touring nationally with Royal Otis and San Cisco , to showcasing at SXSW Austin, nabbing a slot at one of Australia’s biggest festivals, Lost Paradise, and performing to enamoured crowds across Tokyo and Osaka on their debut Japan tour, the band is currently in their biggest year yet.
Salarymen have earned regular spots on local/international Spotify playlists, play on BBC6, Radio X and KEXP, premieres on triple j, features on Clash, The Guardian, NME and much more.
