Sam Gendel is a musician and producer living in Los Angeles, California. He is most known for his work with the saxophone, though he is proficient on multiple instruments. Gendel’s self-effacing approach has earned him a growing reputation: Jazz Times hailed him for creating “a distinctive sax sound,” and a review in the Guardian said he had found “an entirely new language for his saxophone.” Sam Wilkes is an American experimental/jazz/session bassist, producer, arranger, and composer based in Los Angeles. Wilkes’ music is steeped in genre fusion, colla boration, and tight rhythm section performance.
