"The new face of Afro-Folk", Bongeziwe Mabandla surfaced in 2012, effortlessly mixing Xhosa lyrics with traditional music and folk stylings. His second album in 2017 'Mangaliso' (Universal) which was produced by Tiago Correia Paulo (Tumi and the Volume) and Mike Wright (Zebra & Giraffe) contained the breakthrough single 'Ndokhulandela' which has been streamed 3M times on Spotify Bongeziwe Mabandla releases his latest single, 'Zange' in advance of his latest album and is appearing live in central London at the world-famous 100 Club.
