Scouts Are a post-punk four-piece from South East London, blending noisy, atmospheric textures with the raw intensity of punk. Drawing from influences that range from post-punk to trip hop and shoegaze, their sound is restless and evolving, driven by experimentation and high-energy live performances. Messmate - excellent entertainment that somehow manages to combine Nirvana, The Cure and Dr Feelgood and still sound utterly original. The (seemingly) seven foot tall frontman is quite a presence, and does some wonderful Wilko Johnson duck walking as he off loads his ace Anglo Saxon indie angst.

Testcard F- Synth pop duo with some lovely female ensemble vocals, like a baroque pop take on Stereolab, though a bit more stripped down and, dare I say, hooky. Nice.
