Weve given four writers a theme and two weeks to write about it, along with some actors and a space to see their pieces come to life. All we need now is an audience. Fancy joining us? After a sell out inaugural event at Porter's we're excited to be back with our second event. Scratch Sessions works like this: Day 1 - we get our writers, and give them a theme to write about. Day 7 - we see what theyve written so far, and get the pieces on their feet with a group of actors. Day 12, 13 & 14 - we host rehearsals with the actors, where the writers can make any last-minute adjustments to their pieces. Night 14 - script-in-hand performances of the pieces will be delivered in front of our lovely audience. Each piece will be fifteen minutes long, there will be an interval half way through the evening, and each writer will have the chance to introduce their pieces. This is an experimental night of theatre fun which we hope youll join us for.
