Seth Tabatznik is an indie-folk musician born in London and now based in South Africa's Western Cape. Inspired by 1960s folk artists like Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake and James Taylor, and shaped by spiritual and musical mentorship from Rainer Scheurenbrand and Nick Mulvey.
His sound is honest and intentional, rooted in live instrumentation and simple, heartfelt lyrics exploring self-discovery, consciousness, and our relationship with the Earth; blended with a modern indie sensibility.
Seth began releasing music in 2024 after stepping back from leadership roles in environmental and conscious enterprises due to ill-health. A period of stillness and reconnection with nature led to his debut album, When the Wind Rests.
His second album, Awakening Embers, launched in February 2026.
