Sheilas Island

SHEILA'S ISLAND
by Tim Firth
Directed by Hazel Phillips
From the writer of Calendar Girls comes Sheilas Island. Its bonfire night 2019, and our story follows four middle-aged women - Sheila, Denise, Julie, and Fay - who find themselves stranded on a remote island in the Lake District during a corporate team-building exercise gone disastrously wrong.
As the group struggles to survive in the wild with limited resources, tensions rise, personalities clash, and hidden insecurities come to the surface. Sheila, the reluctant leader, tries to keep the team together, but the group's lack of survival skills, combined with their personal grievances, leads to absurd and hilarious situations. Meanwhile, Denises cynicism, Julies relentless optimism, and Fays mysterious past add layers of humour and tension to their predicament.
As the women navigate their unexpected adventure, they discover truths about themselves and each other along the way.
