Leadership Under Pressure: Lessons from the Front Line to the Boardroom.

Bob Sawers (Rt 99-04) is Managing Director of Intelligence, Investigations and Strategy at Audere Group, where he leads international teams delivering strategic intelligence, investigations and risk advisory services to organisations operating in complex and high-risk environments.
Prior to this, Bob held senior consulting and leadership positions advising government departments, critical national infrastructure operators, multinational corporations and financial institutions on resilience, crisis management and strategic risk. His work has involved supporting decision-makers during major incidents, geopolitical crises and complex organisational challenges across Europe, the Middle East and emerging markets.

Bob previously served in the British Army as an infantry officer with The Rifles, completing operational deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and holding leadership appointments in the United Kingdom and overseas. He later worked within the Ministry of Defence, where he contributed to national-level counter-terrorism and resilience policy and the management of high-consequence domestic and international crises. He has an MBA focused on Crisis Leadership from Northampton University, and a 1st BA (hons) in Ancient History from Newcastle University.

Drawing on experience spanning military operations, government decision-making and corporate leadership, Bob's talk focuses on how leaders navigate uncertainty, make decisions under pressure and build organisations capable of succeeding in rapidly changing environments.
