Skipton Music Presents: Meraki Duo
Formed at the Royal Northern College of Music, Meraki Duo flautist Meera Maharaj and guitarist James Girling have established themselves as a leading flute and guitar duo on the British chamber music scene. Winners of the 2023 II International Chamber Music Competition in Spain, they have performed at venues including Wigmore Hall and Kings Place, with their debut album released on Delphian Records in September 2026.

We will be continuing our monthly Listening Club this season where we meet (mostly online) before each concert and chat about a piece of music from the forthcoming gig - a bit like a book club. Last year in five of the six Listening Clubs the performers joined as well to chat with us and provide their personal perspective.
