After Annabel and Miriams father dies, Annabel returns to the rundown family home after 30 years and meets Miriam again. Miriam is resentful, having become a housebound carer for their unkind father, helped in her work by his slightly peculiar nurse Alice. Alice accuses Miriam of murder, the sisters accuse Alice of blackmail, and soon the overgrown garden becomes the perfect place to dispose of a body. Spoilers? Hardly! This thrilling dark comedy about sisters, family, and toxic secrets includes Alan Ayckbourns usual enjoyable plot twists, plus a surprising number of flying tennis balls.
