Snakes X Agita X Sam Milne

snakes
2024 saw the trio expand and develop their sound, creating and recording the exquisite songs which comprise their second album, ‘Expo’. Ranging from intelligent power pop to sophisticated dream pop which highlights their shoegaze influences, Expo is a major leap forward from their debut album and will surprise many people. This set of songs has been produced by S R Mortimer who has helped bring Snakes’ music to life.
agita
Post-punk assault force Agita propel their guitar-driven racket with elements garnered from across the entire après-Elvis rock spectrum. Punkedelic Chelmerbeat veterans Ian Fortnam (guitar/vocal) and Gary Theobald (drums) first hooked up in Lobotomy Scab and have since graced/besmirched stages with Anorexia, Funeral Directors, Let’s Talk About Leather, Hunger City Sluts, The Junkies, Sontaag, Nervosa and Speed Of Life (amongst countless others far too offensive to mention without giving significant offence). 101 Guitars vet Jason Mills bludgeons furiously at a bass guitar while the line-up is completed by former Neighbourhood Threat sonic insurrectionist Dave Littleson on yet more guitar.
Sam Milne
Sam Milne is a 16 year old indie singer songwriter from Ipswich, playing his original songs across the county with his backing band. His music is influenced heavily by some of the greatest indie acts on the planet, stemming from Arctic Monkeys to Car Seat Headrest and an abundance more. The Ipswich indie scene grows ever stronger.
