Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning collective Snarky Puppy are back for their first UK shows since 2022.

Led by bassist and bandleader Michael League, the band will bring their unmistakable fusion of funk, soul, R&B, gospel, rock and jazz to Glasgow in April 2027.

Snarky Puppy may not be classified exactly a jazz band or a fusion band, but it’s certainly a thrilling and distinct ensemble whose hybrid of influences include funk, rhythm & blues, hard rock, classic soul, modern gospel, new tech, fusion and jazz. In Michael League’s words they have always been a band “that prioritizes the sound of the music."

After 22 years Snarky Puppy’s music continues to reach people, and the music is always evolving with each new record. Michael League describes the band’s rule to be that “it can’t sound like it sounded before; the music has to feel like it’s moving somewhere”
