It’s back!

After two blockbuster shows in 2025, Something In The Water presented by Joe McElderry and powered by funk-soul supergroup Groovetrain returns with a fast-paced, live show that celebrates the remarkable talent and humour only found in England’s North East – and featuring a generation of the brightest Northern stars from the charts, the stage, and the screen.

Built on solid foundations, this new event harnesses all the charm of a Cabaret style revue show mixed with a live music concert, set in the breathtaking surroundings of Newcastle Theatre Royal – with proceeds donated to Newcastle Theatre Royal Trust, a registered charity, and in support of more children and young people in the region to find their own star through music and the performing arts.
