Sorry Darling Play Young Loud and Snotty Club at the Bell Inn in Bath
Sorry Darling are a band from New York City with dueling girl/boy vocals - like the Pretenders hanging out with the Attractions

"a grand melding of upbeat 70s power pop and a 90s alt-rock edge with an abundance of hooks, harmonies and riffs serving as the connective tissue" - Medium.com

"There isnt any other band like Sorry Darling in our scene. Their 50's-fitted songwriting is played with a modern punk energy, but the music could fit anywhere in your OR your parent's record collections. On top of that, the band gives out flowers after they play, dresses to the nines when appropriate, and even throws annual Valentines Day shows. Their whole thing just rocks." - Bandnada

"The resurgence of power pop as a prominent subsect of indie rock has been a welcome development in recent years. For quite some time, I was sitting all alone with my Smithereens, Marshall Crenshaw, Matthew Sweet records waiting patiently for my contemporaries to take the baton. Now, were truly in a bit of a renaissance with bands like The Beths, Charley Bliss, consistently putting out noteworthy, critically lauded releases. Brooklyn has proven to be a hot bed for bands that enjoy the more bubblegum-y aspects of rock music. Strange Neighbors, Onesie, and Holy Tunics are just a few thatve made their mark locally and following the release of their first ever single last week, newcomers Sorry Darling are working their way into the mix.
Sorry Darling's eponymous debut tune is sweet, fun, and chock full of infectious, ear wormy ingredients. The song opens with a catchy and massive wall of guitars before the band's tight-as-hell rhythm section keeps the engine chugging along. The chorus is the pinnacle of their sharp songwriting prowess, as it features sing-a-long inducing lyrics, perfectly timed cymbal crashes, and lots of gooey ohhhs and ahhhs.
In conjunction with the release, the band also shared a fun video for the song, which contains a ton of amusing sitcom references. You can watch it below" LOOK AT MY RECORDS.Com
