Have a go at the ancient craft of spinning on a spindle. This basic fun 2 hour workshop will introduce you to hand spinning and you can then use the spun yarn to weave on a small frame or card. Perfect for beginners and those with experience. The weaving cards may be taken home so that you can finish your creations. You can also try making braids with the yarn if you dont want to weave or simply try the spinning and keep the yarn for whatever you choose. We are very pleased to welcome Wendy Kotenko, Weave technician from Falmouth University who will be running this taster session. The price includes all materials and Tea, coffee & biscuits.
