YOU WILL: Learn how to select suitable botanicals and work with ‘stay open’ inks. Create unique plant prints, using a gelli plate, over layered with stamped impressions. Take home your very own set of 5 wooden-based decorations, ready to hang or gift! Tutor Su France is a rural-based printmaker and earth pigment textile artist whose work connects with the arable farm landscape around her. Drawing inspiration from fields, ceramic traditions and kintsugi philosophy, she creates thoughtful pieces that celebrate imperfection in life and nature. Working with locally sourced earth pigments, Su develops rich, muted palettes that capture the essence of place and evoke a sense of tranquillity. Her own process combines printmaking with delicate hand-stitching, using vintage threads to trace agricultural patterns and reference human interactions with the land.
