Join us for a full day of jazz education and performance for young musicians in the heart of Stirling’s historic arts venue. Young musicians will have fun while learning jazz repertoire, practice improvisation techniques and play in a latin percussion ensemble. You’ll learn from experienced jazz musicians, Kevin MacKenzie and Mario Caribe and meet other young jazz enthusiasts. The day will be rounded off with a sharing concert for friends and family. Whether you’re a seasoned young player or just starting your jazz journey, this is your chance to play some jazz and develop your musical skills! Open to young people aged 9-18 who attend a Stirling Council school and / or live in the Stirling Council area.
