The Stowe Choral Society presents an evening of profound and moving choral music in the majestic setting of the Stowe School Chapel.
Under the distinguished baton of conductor Hilary Davan Wetton, the choir will present a programme featuring Gabriel Faurs Requiem. This timeless masterpiece will be complemented by contemporary works from three of the most celebrated modern composers: the ethereal sounds of Eric Whitacre, the spiritual minimalism of John Tavener, and the lush, romantic harmonies of Morten Lauridsen.
