Sudan Archives, born Brittney Denise Parks, is an American violinist, singer, and songwriter known for her unique blend of R&B, experimental electronic music, and Sudanese-inspired violin playing. She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and began playing violin in the fourth grade, teaching herself by ear. She later moved to Los Angeles, where she studied ethnomusicology and became immersed in the city's experimental music scene.
