Across a series of different workshops led by members of the Suffolk Craft Society, you will learn from the experts behind the Contemporary Heirlooms exhibition.

On this workshop you will learn to create lino prints using a single piece of lino. Discover easy, creative and imaginative ways of varying your prints. You can choose whether or not to work from your own ideas and reference material and develop you own design or use templates to speed up the design stage. Learn about creating a balanced design, how to safely use cutting tools and how to produce your final print. You will be able to make several prints during the session and will be offered guidance on experimental techniques, to make each print a little bit different.

The image size will be roughly A6. Blank cards will be available if you wish to print your own greetings cards. To get the most out of this workshop you might like to prepare a selection of images of subjects that interest you. Please be aware that inks will stain, so bring an apron.
