Make, mend and learn together at our upcoming workshop led by Yarndale, where youll learn the art of visible mending and make your own colourful patch to repair or customise your well-loved clothes! Inspired by our exhibition Designed for War and the Second World Wars Make Do & Mend campaign, this hands-on session will show you how to repurpose clothing using a simple weaving technique. You will also be shown how to attach your new patch using a hand sewing technique, so feel free to bring along your item of clothing you are wanting to mend or customise! No experience is needed and all materials will be supplied. Duration: 6.30pm 8.00pm
