A '40s evening with Jazz Unlimited Join pianist/trumpeter Ray Simmons and his all-star group for a romp through the music of WWII and the '40s. Rays quartet is complemented by the talents of Phil Brooke (guitar), Mick Betts (bass) and Craig Hipperson (drums) and his guest artists for tonight are Martin Eaton (tenor sax, clarinet and vocals) and local songstress Charlotte James, otherwise known as Charlie. Dance the night away to Glenn Miller classics, as well as music associated with Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day and many other swing superstars. Jazz Unlimited bring the best of American jazz music of the last century to arts societies, music clubs and community venues throughout East Anglia.
