Tama Matheson with Kate Vigurs - On Nancy Wake

Writer/director Tama Matheson and author Dr Kate Vigurs discuss Nancy Wake, one of the Allies most formidable spies during World War II. Nicknamed the white mouse for her ability to evade capture; Nancy was brave, rebellious and on the Gestapos most wanted list. Dr Kate Vigurs is the author of Mission Europe a fascinating account of the women recruited to set Europe ablaze by the Special Operations Executive. Marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day this year, Tama and Kate honour the women who resisted and disrupted the occupation of Europe.
Dr Kate Vigurs is an historian, author and researcher, working in Political & International Studies at the University of Warwick.
