tAngerinecAt is a British duo whose powerful sonic rituals merge shamanic industrial electronics, dark jazz, folk, post metal, overtone singing, and evocative spoken word into a visceral, genre-defying experience. Formed by Ukrainian-born producer, sound artist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Zhenia Purpurovsky and British sound artist Paul Chilton, the project is driven by a fierce anti-war, anti-fascist, and anti-ecocide ethos and a deep commitment to artistic innovation.
