Our own Royal Northern Sinfonia are joined by Antje Weithaas, winner of the Opus Klassik ‘Instrumentalist of the Year 2025 award, who will both play the solo violin and direct the orchestra.

Strings are in the spotlight for this concert. We’ve got two of the most popular pieces out there, Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto plus folk dances by Bartók.
