On Saturday, 24 October 2026, TEDxAberdeen returns to the Aberdeen Arts Centre to bring those stories to life under the theme: Minds Wide Open.

In the spirit of TED's mission to spread ideas capable of changing minds and lives, TEDxAberdeen brings together an eclectic lineup of local speakers, thinkers, and doers. This independently organised event-managed entirely by volunteers-combines live local voices with selected TED video content to spark meaningful conversations, challenge long-held assumptions, and encourage fresh ways of looking at our world.

Whether exploring the pitfalls of the online world, creative expressions of art, or personal journeys of perseverance, every talk on the TEDxAberdeen stage is carefully curated to provoke thought and inspire action.
