Telling Tales for children and young people with Katherine Woodfine, hosted by Joanne Sefton

Telling Tales for children and young people, hosted by Joanne Sefton
Telling Tales is a live literary evening which brings together a select handful of new writers to share the stage with an invited guest author. The event is quickly gaining a name for its friendly atmosphere and literary networking. So, whether youre an avid reader, or an aspiring or established author, come along for a fantastic evening.
By popular demand, at the summer edition of Telling Tales we will be turning our attention to the fast-paced world of fiction for children, teens and young adults. The special guest this evening is Katherine Woodfine, author of the Sinclair's Mysteries and Taylor & Rose Secret Agents series of children's books.
As always, all are welcome, but we are particularly keen to welcome younger writers into our supportive community and would encourage anyone aged 14 or over with an interest in creative writing to come along or (even better) submit to read your work on the night.
Alongside our invited author, we will be showcasing the work of a handful of local writers, who will each read an extract from their own work, and have the chance to join in a panel discussion, speaking about their own work and creative practice. For this event, we particularly welcome submissions of work written for children and young people.
