TELLING TALES with IMOGEN CLARK, HOSTED BY JOANNE SEFTON
Are you obsessed with books stuffed full of family secrets, unforgettable characters and themes that get you talking? So are we! Telling Tales is Chorleys very own literary salon evening, and in June we are thrilled to be welcoming internationally number one bestselling author Imogen Clark for an evening focussed on the best of contemporary fiction.
Since publishing her first book at the age of 50, Imogen has published 10 best-sellers, including Postcards from a Stranger, and Where the Story Starts which was short-listed for UK Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year in 2020. She also writes as Izzy Bromley and has sold over one million books in her career.
Telling Tales Joanne Sefton will be talking to Imogen about how she creates characters and storylines that are beloved by readers all over the world, as well as how you can write contemporary fiction that stands out from the crowd.
In the second half of the evening, we will be joined on stage by a small selection of local writers sharing work which resonates with Imogen. If you would like to take part in this event as a panel member, please see the Take Part page on our website.
