Terry Gilliam: Celebrating 50 Years In Film

Join Terry Gilliam, one of cinema’s great visionaries, to celebrate his extraordinary life and career this October.
This year marks a remarkable series of milestones for Gilliam: it’s been 50 years since the brilliance of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 40 years since the dystopian masterpiece Brazil, and 30 years since the mind-bending 12 Monkeys.
And later this year, he’ll turn 85 – the perfect moment to reflect on a life spent pushing the boundaries of imagination on screen.
In this celebratory evening, we’ll revisit highlights from his prolific career, with specially selected clips from his most celebrated works. Expect surprises too: from self-reflections to stories from friends, colleagues and admirers who have been touched by his artistry.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to join us in person for an evening of humour, insight and cinematic wonder as we honour one of the most important filmmakers of our time. This is also your chance to ask him your own questions and hear first hand about the inspirations, struggles and triumphs behind half a century of artistry.
