The Art of Documentary Photography Storytelling with FRPS Simon Street

The Art of Documentary Photography Storytelling with FRPS Simon Street
One of the highlights of Richmond & Twickenham Photographic Societys annual exhibition will be two dramatic panels on the UK and US elections from member Simon Street who holds a record breaking 10 Fellowships with the Royal Photographic Society, their highest distinction. The first focuses on Nigel Farage and his Clacton constituency, one of the most deprived areas of the UK; the second looks at the communities around Georgia, Texas and New Mexico as the US election clock counts down. Find out the stories behind these powerful images from one of the leading photographers in the country. As a special bonus, Simon will also give attendees free downloads to his 11 photography e-books. This event is free, but you will need to pay the 4 entry fee into the exhibition itself. Hundreds of images will be on display at the Landmark Arts Centre as RTPS joins with the Royal Photographic Societys Visual Art Group and Arts Richmond who will also be showcasing their work. From portraiture to landscape, architecture to wildlife and fine art to street photography, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
