The BackBeat Beatles

The band was formed in 1994 by musician / actor Chris O'Neill inspired by his successful acting performance in the BAFTA Award winning Beatle film 'BACKBEAT'. The lads all share a mutual admiration for The Beatles and originate from the Liverpool area.

Dave OReilly (formerly of China Crisis). Dave (Ringo) appeared on the Later with Jools Holland show with Ren Harvieu and continues to work tirelessly with numerous theatre show productions across Europe.
Nick Bold (George) is one of the most accomplished Beatles artists in the business. Having appeared on the TV show, Stars in their Eyes as his idol George, Nick is also busy with his own production, George! that tours the UK and Europe and USA.
Gaz Starkey (John) is lead vocalist and guitarist with the 1960s tribute show, The High Tones in the theatre production that tours the UK and Europe. Gaz has played with countless Beatles productions across Europe throughout his musical career and has an unrivalled love for his boyhood heroes.
The Backbeat Beatles don't just give a Beatles history lesson by chronologically transporting you back to the bands heyday, they recreate the fun on stage that helped to make the Fab Four, Fab. The boys perform with an energy and spontaneity that makes for a fun, enjoyable evening for everyone involved.
