A new comedy play with music by Allan & Janet Scott 'The Cardigirls' is a Play about a year in the life of the workers in a small Knitwear Factory in South West Scotland. The story begins in January 1971 as they return to work after the Christmas and New Year holiday. There was a small Knitwear Factory in Castle Douglas. This was the 'spark' for the play, but... This is NOT a true story. Any similarity to people, places or events is entirely coincidental... maybe!
