The Chris Rea Experience

The Chris Rea Experience
Experience this stunning new show curated by Paul Casey, celebrating the iconic music of his long-time collaborator, Chris Rea. The Chris Rea Experience is a critically acclaimed, expertly crafted production showcasing the greatest hits from the 40‑million‑album-selling artist’s remarkable career.
Fans of the late Chris Rea can now enjoy a rare opportunity to witness his music live, like never before, as Casey and his band ‘Rea-imagines’ the classic hits. The new show honours Rea’s legacy in a way that could only happen on the back of their decades-long relationship and features hits such as ‘Fool If You Think It’s Over’, ‘Auberge’, ‘The Road To Hell’, ‘On The Beach’, ‘Let’s Dance’, ‘Stainsby Girls’, and many more.
In late 2024, Paul Casey suggested to Chris Rea that he wanted to put together an all-star band of musicians to play a night of Chris’ music at the Derry Jazz Festival, but only if he had Chris’ blessing.
“Pauly,” Chris said, “you always have my blessing.”
Paul was gifted Chris’ own touring amps and the final stage set of five signature blue guitars.
The show is not imitation, but something far more meaningful: an authentic tribute to Chris Rea’s body of work by someone who knows this music from the inside, has co-written parts of its history, and brings it to life with heart and soul.
All tickets are priced at £40 – book early and secure the best available seats.
Recommended age: 7+
Duration: approx. 2 hours (incl. interval)
