Based on teenager Anne Frank's famous diary the play gives a stirring insight into the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule in WW2 occupied Europe,. In this stage adaptation Anne emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young woman, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her times with astonishing honesty, wit and determination.
Following their successful productions of The 39 Steps, Blood Brothers, Calendar Girls, The Haunting & Cluedo The Festival Players are back at MMC with this impassioned drama about the lives of eight people in hiding, the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence and their fear, their hope, their laughter and their grief
