The Doors divide opinion. Such is the nature of Doors. Some people cant stand Jimbo, the goat ordure odoured Dionysian poet upfront, and think the music they made arch or pretentious. Some people are idiots. Here at Buggerbear HQ we think theyre one of THE greatest bands of all time, perhaps even THE greatest American band of all time. What with their blend of gothic pop, gnarled blues, baroque jazz and proto punk theatricals, being the absolute Lizard's nuts in our book. So we were very excited indeed to hear about The Fire doors, an impassioned tribute to Morrison, Manzarek, Krieger and Densmore played by people who are already highly accomplished and acclaimed artists in their own FIELD playing MUSIC that is rightly much loved.
