The Blunter Brothers formed in 1989 and has become established as one of the premiere ‘Revue’ acts in the country, covering all the hits from artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfield, EW&F, Average White Band and many more. The band has supported major acts including Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Ruby Turner, Rufus Thomas, Geno Washington as well as collaborating with members of George Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic and gigging with James Brown’s MD and Tenor Sax man Mr Pee Wee Ellis.
