The Ghost Train

This revised version of The Ghost Train is Arnold Ridley's classic comedy-thriller that has gripped and delighted audiences all over the world for a hundred years. It is as exciting and riveting today as it was when it was first written and has lost none of its intrigue and suspense..
Six railway passengers find themselves stranded late at night in the waiting room of an isolated Cornish railway station, miles from anywhere. It is cold and dark and raining heavily. The solitary station-master tries to persuade each of them to leave as he is about to close the station for the night. They each refuse to leave, citing a lack of alternative accommodation even though the station-master warns them they are in great peril and relates the story of the ghost train which haunts the line at the dead of night. Many years before, a train travelling late at night crashed just outside the platform and was fatally wrecked. Six people died instantly and two later. Today the train haunts the line at the dead of night, bringing death or insanity to all who set eyes upon it.
Folks in these parts runs like mad if they ever hear a train in the night: it can only be the ghost train . and disaster.
Ignoring these dire warnings, the passengers refuse to leave and decide to stay where they are until the morning .. with terrifying consequences.
