A Tribute to Astrud Gilberto presented by the Andrada Savu Jazz Quintet

Step into the golden glow of bossa nova with The Girl from Ipanema - A Tribute to Astrud Gilberto, performed by the Andrada Savu Jazz Quintet.

Known for her soft, intimate and effortlessly elegant voice, Astrud Gilberto became a global icon in the 1960s. Her performance of The Girl from Ipanema, composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim with lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes, helped introduce the world to the magic of bossa nova through the landmark 1964 recording with Stan Getz and João Gilberto.

For this special evening, Andrada Savu and her quintet celebrate the music, story and spirit of Astrud Gilberto, bringing warmth, romance and gentle Latin swing to the Toulouse Lautrec stage.
