The House of Bernarda Alba

Written by Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca, the House of Bernarda Alba is an all-woman play following strong characters who endure strife, collide and collude in the most unexpected of ways. As five women come into themselves for the first time, they push the boundaries that their Mother has built.
Haunted by their muddied past, this tight-knit family grows colder and distant, only days into their fathers mourning. Lust, love, loss, these walls have borne witness to it all, but as the summer scorches on the tension rises alongside the weather.
