This house, isnt it going to be awful lonesome now with yere dad gone? Valene and Coleman, two brothers living alone in their father's house after his recent death, find it impossible to co-exist without massive and violent disputes over the most mundane and innocent of topics. This play takes sibling rivalry to a whole new level The Lonesome West is a dark comedy drama by playwright and film director Martin McDonagh, whose films include "In Bruges", "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and "The Banshees of Inisherin". It is the final play of his 'Leenane Trilogy', and ShowWorks has produced the first two plays "The Beauty Queen of Leenane" and A Skull in Connemara here at the Harbour Arts Centre to rave reviews and sell-out audiences. Recommended for ages 12+ Contains some strong language and themes of violence and death.
