The Mayor of Colchester's Variety Show 2026 Starring celebrity magician and Vice President of the Magic Circle, Michael J.

Fitch, The Mayor's Variety Show will bring together some of the most talented performers in Colchester, to compete for a top prize, chosen by the Mayor.

Performances will include artists of all ages, including Colchester's Comedian of the Year, some of the best young bands in Colchester (previous performers from Battle of the Bands), DJs, poets, dancers, parkour artists, choirs, singers, filmmakers and acting performers - including new theatrical work about the life of Shuff and Byng, which was featured in the press recently.

The acts will include a Semi-finalists from Britain's Got Talent and one singer who had a hit record in the charts.

The event will raise funds for the Mayor's charities.
