The Meal Deal is a project by foodie performance-maker Sean Wai Keung about making local connections through fast food. Over the course of nine days Sean will develop recipes for a sandwich, a snack and a drink, each inspired by community groups and stories around Stockton. This will culminate in a drop-in, takeaway-style lunch event in ARC on Friday 5th (12-2pm) during which Sean will give out free meal deal packs while telling the stories of the people and the food he has encountered during his research. The Meal Deal takes a form of lunch usually reserved for eating alone and instead flips it into something both celebratory and communal.
