The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland

The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland
The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland presents Dùthchas (pronounced DOO-kuss), inspired by the Scottish Gaelic idea of 'Dùthchas' - a deep connection to land, and the natural world.
Bringing together some of the finest young pipers and drummers from across the country, the NYPBS will perform a blend of new and traditional material shaped by themes of nature, landscape and the environment.
The evening features performances from all three NYPBS ensembles: Junior Band, Development Band, and Senior Band.
They will be joined by a cast of leading musicians from Scotland’s vibrant traditional music scene, including this year’s guest artists, 'From the Ground', featuring Perthshire piper Ali Hutton and Laura-Beth MacCrimmon.
