Following his recent highly acclaimed BBC TV performance with comedian Romesh Ranganathan in ‘The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan’ Sierra Leonean singer and composer Gwyn Jay Allen returns to PizzaExpress Jazz Club to record a ‘live’ album. A natural born entertainer, the BAFTA nominated vocalist, based in Freetown, has performed to full houses at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Royal Albert Hall, and The Jazz Café as well as making an appearance at Sir Michael Parkinson’s London Palladium show with the BBC Concert Orchestra.
